My driveway is bordered by sleepers there are a number of horizontal sleepers kept in place by some cut off vertical sleepers. What I’d like to do is inset some form of LED light into the vertical face of the vertical sleepers and sit a solar power collector thing flat on the top, hopefully with the necessary batteries hidden inside the sleeper. I have considered just cutting down some ordinary solar powered garden lights and sitting them on top of the sleepers, but she who must be obeyed prefers the idea above. Anyone done anything like this or have any idea what I’d need to get (electronics-wise) and where from? Ideally I’d like some form of kit that would contain all the bits required.
