I am not very good at this but here goes. We have a Hunter Midi which is plumbed in our oil heating system. With cost of oil using the Hunter to heat rads and hopefully hot water. The problem is that we only seem to get warm not hot rads and no hot water unless we use the hot water tank.
The system has a thermostat at the base of the water tank and we have put on a new pump - grundfos Alpha+ . We can only get the thermostat to 45 degrees nothing higher and the boiler will over boil (is the only way I can explain it).
Are we missing something?? Hope someone can help me.
