Hi,
I was hoping that you can shed some light on a situation I am experiencing.
I am finding that when I ask many of the Sheds or even Howdens about whether they have solid oak doors for internal use, I am being told "yes" but then shown veneered doors. They don't register as one and the same for me. In my very simple mind, I would expect the oak door to be heavier and longer lasting as if it has any scuffs etc. I can sand and re-varnish, etc.
I have included a picture of the design I am after.
Is this valid and where should I be heading for these if I am after the "real" thing?
Thanks in advance
