solid oak floor on asphalt

I few years back I installed a floating floor using 18mm sloid oak planks from Wickes. I used fibre board sheets as underlay. The actual floor is made from polished asphalt. I've never been happy with the amount the timber flexed while walking on it. I didn't check how level the asphalt was when I did the installation, but I do know that all the other floors in the house are not level at all (but as they are carpeted, it isn't noticeable) so I'm sure the room in question is not flat either. The readily compressible soft fibreboard underlay doesn't help either.

As the planks are installed using a clip system (similar to Junckers), it should be possible to lift the planks without too much damage. I intend to then level the floor, and put the refurbished planks back.

Could someone recommend a suitable floor levelling compound suitable for asphalt floors? As I intend only to fill the low spots, I'll need something that can be feather edged. Also then I put the planks back, I want some kind of insulation under them - but not something compresses by very much when walked on. Any suggestions?
