hi, anoyone help? recently laid solid ok flooring, having nothing but bother with it. Laid onto exsiting floor boards using no nails and it must have expanded two inches over three month. Contacted Beher where purchased and they told me it should have been secret nailed. Can anyone shed any information on this? Bearing on mind florring cost £900.

No-nails is not suitable for intalling wood flooring.

Were there no instructions with the flooring, did you ask for advice when you purchased the flooring?

The flooring should indeed have been installed either by secret nailing or using a flexible adhesive i.e. not no-nails/gripfill etc.

What exactly are the problems you have been having?
Can the flooring be uplifted, cleaned off and reinstalled?

The cost of the flooring is immaterial, it needs to be installed correctly!

If you could post details of room size, board dimensions, condition of existing floor including direction of lay etc. then there are people on here who will advise. Having said that, there should have been some instructions or guidelines at the outset.
