Trying to sort out the logistics of my house referb - can i have a wall to wall solid wood floor laid after i have installed the kitchen base units (with legs), or do i need to put the floor down first?

I'm guessing i could go either way - but which is easiest. ideally i'd like the floor to go in last to prevent damage.

Thanks

Kitchen units first, then wood floor - end-up just a few inches underneath your units and cut kickboards to new size.
Install plywood of the same height in those places where appliances will be.

I prefer the thought of having the floor laid right up to the wall under the units. is that possible after the units are in?

Thanks

Not really, or with a lot of fiddling.
Do you know it is much more practical not to go wall-to-wall with wooden flooring. In the event of a leak for instance, you don't have to rip out all your units to solve/repair the floor

Not without having to raise thre legs and potnetially mess up the kitchen alignment.
Waste of money too - whos going to see under your units anyway ?
Each 600x600 base unit covers about £115 worth floor.
