how long after installing solvent weld waste pipes does it need to be left to cure, before I pour water down to test?

It's pretty solid after a few minutes but can take a lot longer (hours) to fully cure. It should say on the side of the bottle. If you can leave it a little longer then that is better but I've run water through it pretty soon after fitting without issue. The key is to make sure it is clean and dry to start with.

Cold water within a few minutes but leave longer for hot.

If you spill it all over the floor as I usually do, it can take hours to dry
