Solvent weld or pushfit for bathroom waste?

I was speaking with a bathroom installer recently in relation to the waste pipes under the floor from the basin and the bath.

He said he found as many problems with pushfit as solvent weld in relation to this particular application, and that it didn't really matter which was used. That is, as with this application the water in the pipe is not under pressure.

Do you think the solvent weld is the better option for this specific application?

Yes, solvent weld every time. Haven't used push fit for years.
