Some of my radiators are not working (mainly bathroom towel rads) even though I've tried venting them. Someone suggested I should turn up the pump to a much higher level and turn the boiler temperature up. But I'm worried I might cause longer term damage to the boiler. I am thinking I need to get someone in to balance the central heating system, power flush and put some inhibitor in. Should I just turn up the pump and save myself some money?

no, just check the valves first , then do some balancing yourself. Theres a procedure in one of the sticky's at the top of this forum list !
