Hi all.

I have what I believe is an unvented heating/water system. The boiler powering this is a Potterton promax He 24/2 the system was fitted in 2008 and I've only lived in the house 2 years. Now the problem I have is where the hell would the pressure gauge be to show me how much pressure is in the heating system? There's nothing on the front of the boiler and nothing where the tank is! How would any fitter know how much is in or does it not need one??? Answers please! Cheers.

There's just a small water tank in the loft I think.

Forgive my naivety (I'm a sparky) I was under the impression that a heating system had to have a certain pressure in the radiators/system etc. If I bleed them I thought they needed topping up?

Not in your case mate ,,, if you bleed rads your loft tank should top up automatically
