Sourcing a small cylinder

Im supposed to be helping a friend replace a boiler and cylinder soon, unfortunetly i wont be able to see the prem until i go to do it, but the cylinder is in a cupoard thats only about 400mm deep, he says its like some old style double cylinder for small spaces fed off of . . . cant remember the name off it as ive never worked with them but like a tiny little headertank that looks like a copper cylinder.

anyway, question is, whats the thinnest i can get a cylinder? only ones ive been looking at on the net are 400mm, and i dont know if that even includes the insulation

60x12 torpedo unlagged are still available 1800mmx300mm in new money.you can get a prelagged one as well which comes in around 375mm but you can shave the insulation to fit.
a cly with a tank on top is a fortic,have a look at range clys i think they do a fortic type.

used to get dublo tanks that were very narrow and tall, cant remember if dublo is make or model, if its any help McDonald Engineering, Glenrothes in Fife will make any size you require

Certainly their boilers have! I had a call from a builder who had fitted 26 of them and just as the houses were being sold one of the heat exchangers split and he was told the manufacturer was in liquidation and there was no warrantee cover !!!

So much for Dr Drivel's Gledhill thermal stores!
