Spacers

tried screwfix toolstation etc without any luck

Contact a local sign company, one who make proper shop signs - not the type who only stick vinyl on vans - and they should b able to supply something similar. They're sometimes referred to as "stand-offs", but take a photo along and they should be able to help. They shouldn't be that expensive. Because they're a very specialised item I doubt whether you'd ever source them from a "high street" retailer. or even most ironmongars

You may well have asked Mr Google, but you obviously didn't notice that all three of your links are to AMERICAN SUPPLIERS. The cost of shipping alone would be more than the price of a couple of stand-offs from a local firm

I just gave a couplke of examples that mr Google found, the OP could easily do the same for UK suppliers.

thanks for the replys never thought off putting stand offs in google I put in spacers thanks for the ebay link
