Guys, Need some advise. In my kitchen I saw speedfit plumbing fittings (equal straight joint connector) on the copper hot pipe which is coming from the combi boiler.

Just want to know, will it be OK or do I need get it sorted?

No, they should be fine.

Some boiler makers ask for just copper pipes for the first one or two meters but I don't think that any prohibit plastic fittings.

First few meters ON THE HEATING pipes as they can reach 90*+ (when a fault occurs such as an airlock ) past what some plastics are rated for I have seen them split on the Flow and returns even after 1m from the boiler Baxi measured it ha ha.

The Hot pipe would never get past 65* so plastic is fine on that
