Spilt super glue on lense of my wifes glasses. How can I remove super glue without damaging lense

glass or plastic?.. "superglue" reacts with water to the extent if submerged in water after a day or so it goes white and crumbly and flakes off...... worth a try but takes time.

try soaking them in water..... its probably the only thing you can do, i think anything else will disolve the lenses.

I would try what has been suggested, but there is unfortuately a strong possibility that the lens has now been irrepairably damaged.

Loctite do a glue remover, but you would neeed to find out if it would damage specs...
