Hi All
I have an open plan staircase that i would like to remove and replace with a spiral stair to claim back the top landing for a room extension, the top step of the spiral would have to be fitted to a joist that runs the length of the room as do all the others, problem being the stair width at present is around 800mm and the new square opening for the spiral has to be 1200mm, so this end joist needs 1250mm cutting out for the spiral opening, what would be the best way to attempt this?
Thanks
Wayne
