SPLIT: fixing skirting

I have just come on to ask more or less the same thing - but luckily somebody else above asked before me , my walls are plasterboard with plaster, and brick on external walls.

I want to know, for a clean look would it be best to decorate my walls first before putting skirting back on [removed old skirting, to lay laminate floor] the wall decoration will be just lining paper with paint applied.

or do i put skirting on then decorate?


Where do I get gripfill? and is that the brand name?

Fit your skirting before decorating then you can fill top of skirting. if your staining skirting then stain before fixing
