Spray paint

I've sprayed chairs with aerosol paints before and had good results.

Other than that an oil based paint will flow out the best with a brush, sanding lightly between coats (yellowing not such a problem with ivory i guess), fiddly but will save you forking out from one of those DIY sprayers which spit paint out.

There is some furniture paint called something like tikkurela which is well rated but not used it myself. You need a strong grip primer/sealer over the seat before painting under or top coats, bin would be good but dries mega fast and you get high : )

Thanks dcdec, I hate painting at the best of times so was looking for an easy way out.
It could take sometime this job

Ahhh, in DIY, there is so rarely an 'easy way out' always a harder way, but the easy way will generally come back to bite you in the behind.
