Hello folks

I'm spraying an upright radiator using the Hammerite spray enamel. After a couple of coats it looks ok , but the finish is a little patchy . ie , some shiny areas and some flat areas . I've used a full can so need to order another .
My question is , with it being a couple of days between recoating , will I need to sand it down , or just paint it ? Can't find much info on the can .
Thanks

I would lightly rub maybe 400 wet/dry

I agree that a light rub would be beneficial but from the days when I used to spray MDF cabinets, I was not advised to sand above 360 grits because it could potentially polish the paint rather than abrade it. That said, yeah, 400 will probably be fine.
