Square shower head to rose type.

Hoping someone will know the answer to this.

We are in rented property and in the en-suite we have a shower that has a square overhead plate. The shower has a 1.5bar pump in line as the pressure is quite low without it but it is not a forceful output. I want to change the square head for a rose type head in the hope of more pressure and different spray outputs.
Does anyone know if this is possible please? Where the supply pipe connects to the back of the plate it is similar to a ball & socket joint.

You can only increase the pressure if you uprate the pump. The only thing a different head will do is change the spray pattern and flow rate.
