Stack Removal or Roof Repair?

If the plaster is still sound use stain block before decorating.
If you do get the chimney dropped below roof level seal up the room vents as it is a passage for condensation into the flue and attic.

Plaster sound.

The stack is now gone and slated over. A few inches gap from the top of the chimney to the underside of the new (reclaimed) slates
No felt in that part of the loft. Torching long gone. Plenty of air flow up there.
Is there still a risk of condensation?

I don't want heat going up the chimney but also want to make sure any residual damp in the breast is not 'locked in'.
