Stainless Steel or uPVC bell cast beading for coastal use

Is it better to use SS or uPVC bell cast beading on a rendered external wall that is right on the beach (close enough to get sea spray directly on it from time to time)?

Either would be ok but l would go for the plastic(upvc) one ...the other maybe stainless but its still metal at the end of the day
