Standard oven not fitting in standard oven housing

We designed and ordered a standard 600 oven housing, to fit a standard oven, most of which appear to be 595 width. Having everything arrive now, the oven wont fit, as the internal dimensions of the oven housing are too small - ie the side panels would have to be only 2.5mm thick to fit.

But looking at all other oven housings, they are all 600mm wide, and I presume this is the external dimension. Can this be right? I cant think we are the 1st person to realise a standard oven housing wont fit a standard oven.

Can anyone think of anyway round this - we have another unit 1 side of the oven, but the dishwasher the other side, so cant hang it, even if we take out 1 side panel, it still wont fit.

Help!

If you asked for a standard oven to fit into a 600mm carcass & it does not then take it back & ask them to sort it.
