Starmer's treachery

Exactly. Muslims are extreme right wing in their outlook and have absolutely nothing in common with the left, but socialists often court their votes, exactly as is happening in the OK with Labour and Green parties.

In Iran the lefties helped the muslims into power, then were mostly beheaded by them after they'd served their purpose. Lefties are just useful idiots to them.
The popular Right wing Muslim government displaced a right wing autocracy.
That's the kind of thing that happens as a country's politics swings ever further right.

I don't dispute this is a trump/israeli war, but most other countries are interested. They're interested in defending their citizens from Iranian retaliation and the effect that the war is going to have on energy prices.

To say no one is interested is ostrich territory.
Those countries that are having to defend themselves from Iranian retaliation shouldn't have allowed an aggressor like USA to have bases on their soil. What did they think would happen?
I'm sure USA said, "don't worry we'll defend you".

I wouldn't have a problem with the navy going to defend our assets.
Just don't get involved in trying to bomb our way to peace.
Although arguably blowing up a missile launcher in Iran is defensive, so the lines are very blurred.
And in defending from Iran's retaliatory strikes we are freeing up USA and Israeli resources for further attacks.
Thus we are being complicit in those attacks.
If Bill attacks Charlie in an unprovoked attack, and Charlie retaliates. If Arthur helps to defend Bill against those retaliatory strikes, and Bill continues to attack Charlie, Arthur is complicit in that attack.

He has one eye on the enemy within and another on the local elections should he antagonise the new arrivals that came in on his watch. He doesn’t want to upset them
You continue to demonstrate your willingness to invent ever more weird conspiracy theories.
How's that Dunce's hat coming along?

The US did tell us what was coming, hence their request to use our bases. From what i've read, they didn't share the exact timing because the Israelis spotted an opportunity to kill the Iranian Leadership, so acted decisively.
That’s just rationalising Donald speak. What he said was it was obvious we were going to attack. Isreal’s opportunism is irrelevant
Something that our PM is fundamentally unable to do.

It should have been clear to Starmer that once missiles started flying, there was only one direction of travel and that is that we would end up involved in some form. He didn't have to agree to use our (limited) forces against Iran, but he should have agreed to allow the US to use their airbases based in the UK and Diego Garcia. We've just now ended up with the worst of both worlds, something that seems to be a recurrent theme with Starmer.
We’ve ended up with the best of one world, protecting British interests and acting within the law.
He really has to be the most ineffective prime minister we've ever had.
That award goes to any if the last lot. Or are you a Trussophile
I accept that in a democracy we will get governments that do things i don't support, but Starmer's ineptitude is staggering, verging on treasonous.
Trumpf is the treasonous player in all this.

Charlie don't surf.
