Hi everyone, I've got a 3 yr old baxi 80e which sometimes struggles to start.
The fan will spin for a second then stop, spin again then stop, this can carry on for up to twenty times before it finally lights, but other times it lights first go. I've changed the air pressure switch which has made no diffrence, not sure what to look at next.
Hope someone can shed some light on this cheers.

Hi... i had one of these doing this not so long back and it was the pcb at fault.

I had exactly this problem two months ago. First the air pressure switch was replaced, then the PCB followed by most of other electrical parts. It turned out to be the temperature sensor giving eratic readings. So the fan came on, the sensor changed its mind and then fan went off and so on just as you describe.
