When I ctrl/alt/delete I am informed that I have 42 processes running.
Now I know that if i go to run and type msconfig.exe I can find these items.
My question is how do I know which ones I need and how do I stop them starting (is it just by unchecking the box)
I'm pretty sure this is what will be causing my system to bog down.
Running XP.

Thank you

256 Mb should be ok, but another 256 won't hurt, make sure you can physically install another 256 Mb i.e you have a spare slot for a 256 Mb DIMM (I'm assuming DIMMs)
