Hello all,
We have a small hairdressers its in bungalow and we've just finished remodelling the inside which included changing the position of the door to to toilet to make access from inside of the shop.
My question is this this now that the toilet is inside(the toilet itself or the drains hasn't actually moved) is there a requirement for a stench/vent pipe?

I assume this is on the ground floor? You can connect one toilet directly to the foul drain providing the invert (the bit under the ground) is no more than 1.3 below the floor level. As you’ve only changed means of access & haven’t changed the connection itself I wouldn’t worry about it.

However, I have no idea if what youve done falls foul of any other regulations regarding use of commercial premises.
