'Stepped' Facing Blocks

Hi All

I have seen (in Ireland at the weekend), some garden planters made of decorative 'pretend stone' concrete blocks. They are different to what I have seen, in that they have a sort of step at one end, so that they bond next to each other, rather than a trad bond. This also accomodates the corners. Would they have a trade name? Sorry cant do pics, but think of a 450x200x100 block with a 100x100 cut out of one corner! Thanks.
