Stick felt to plastic, 'sticks like *' not working

My rattan furniture has plastic shoes which keep scratching the patio, I tried cutting up some rubber tyre with 'sticks like *', that lasted a couple of days, now got some felt which looks better and can slide furniture around, again used 'sticks like *', has lasted a month but now falling off.

Anyone any ideas what to use, third time lucky!?

Or use a more appropriate adhesive such as a good quality contact adhesive, possibly

Should have said i want to use the felt, it looks good and is easier to move the furniture. Got some contact adhesive some where, red tin by evo stick, that stuff any good?
