Sticking roof felt back up inside attic

It appears that before I bought my house someone had loads of stuff stored in the attic and managed to tear the roof felt in several places when retrieving it.....

The result is that I have roof felt hanging down in several locations and can see the underside of the roof tiles.

Can anyone suggest what I should use to stick the felt back in place ?

Its more likely the felt is past its sell by date, rather than it been torn by a previous owner.

No - It has definately been physically torn. The felt is also in very good condition - as new I would say.

New stuff is normally very tough and needs a knife to cut, if torn it must be old stuff.
