sticky stuff

guys,
ive been asked about some sticky fluids that has been left all over the boiler pipes(proberbly inhibitor or something like that)
fluid is green and very very sticky almost like ldf gets when it builds up, pipes beleive it or not do have signs of corrosion like normal metal where the pipe are connected to boiler with brass fittings on copper pipe so god only know why corroded substance is present.

any ideas

Sounds like excessive flux not cleaned up after soldering.
 
na cant be its all over the worktop behind the ducting.
worked it out leak fluid???
