hi all,can anyone tell me if it is safe to box in wall mounted storage heaters ,using the radiator cabinets you can buy in most diy stores regards dave

As long as you keep the boxing a reasonable distance away it should be ok, boxing them in will dramatically reduce their heat output though as the boxing with absorb much of the heat that is supposed to be heating the room, so you may find that boxing them in makes you cold.

If the boxing is too close, the heater may overheat, and trip the thermal cut-out inside when they're charging at night.
