i have 5 bathroom sinks in a house and all drain fine except one in the main bathroom which is not used much due to other rooms having ensuites. this main bathroom sink drains perfectly when its only water(no soap). its fast as one would expect.
however as soon as soap is introduced, it bubbles and takes forever for the bubbles to disappear down the drain. i thought maybe too much soap is being used. however after using tiny amounts of soap when washing hands , the problem persists. bubbles stay and dry up and makes sink dirty. there is no blockage that i can see. P- pipe taken out and nothing blocking it. i didnt expect to see any blockage as plain water drains very fast anyway.
is this to do with the tap on the sink ? i thought maybe the tap is introducing too much air into the water but even after swapping the 'netting thingy' on the spout, same problem persists. very strange
any ideas please? none of the other sinks/taps have this issue.
thank you
