The cold water supply into my combi-boiler (the one that turns into hot water later) has a valve on it. The plastic tap that fits onto the valve has rounded off.

It looks to me like the splines are similar to the top of a sink tap, but one of these taps will not fit in the small space available.

I've looked everywhere online for the plastic tap... might anyone be kind enough to let me know where I might be able to get a replacement?

Many thanks,

Rob

Thanks for the reply Pete. It's a sabre boiler... I can't find any information about it or any spares online. I didn't know whether the tap was a standard part and whether I'm just too dumb to know what it's called!

If all you want to do is turn the hot water off the stop tap to the house will do it.
Otherwise wouldn't waste my money on it.
You can also cut the cold pipe and put a normal £1 service valve in available from any DIY shop.
