Hi we've a strange noise (foghorn) which seems to happen when we switch the shower on (mira react thermostatic bar valve) or the hot water tap on first thing or when we've not used the hot water for some time

Any idea what it could be it seems to last a few seconds

Boilers a ideal logic 15 and the cyclinder tank is a indirect 150l

Most likely a worn float valve in your loft, assuming you have a hot water cylinder

I don't think there's anything in the loft

Nor do I now you've posted that! Could be a problem with the control valve, you'll need a G3-registered engineer to look at that

Managed to get a video of the problem

Been told it's diaphragm in the white expansion vessel vibrating when hot water is drawn

Trying to find a G3 engineer in Leicester is hard!
