Hi,
I hope somebody will be able to help out with this.
I have just bought a 1930's house that needs decorating from top to bottom. I stripped off some plastic tiles from the kitchen and bathroom floors. I really don't know what type of tiles they were. Somone suggested vinyl. All I know is that they were very difficult to remove because of the strong adhesive. I had to chip off one at a time and although the tiles came off, the adhesive still remained on the floorboards. Looks horrible. Was wondering is anyone has any ideas of adhesive removers/chemicals that I could use to remove the adhesive. Also, was told that there could have been asbestos. Does anyone know if this is true? I didn't wear a mask when chipping the tiles so quite worried. Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks
