Stripping oak doors

I have just moved into a new bungalow and the kitchen cabinet doors have been stained dark. Investigation shows that they are solid oak and I am a light oak fanatic. Can anyone suggest a method of getting back to the original wood other than scraping with a cabinet scraper, which is very time consuming and difficult in the mouldings. TIA

Id go for having them dipped.

But just do one first to make sure the colour is what you want..avoiding a waste of money if they dont turn out right.
