Hello Guys

I've got stud wall that sits between a toilet and a hall way. I'm going to use sound block plasterboard. I'm looking at the insulation to sit between the 2*4 stud. I'm looking at rockwool, it appears there are some good deals on ebay but I need some quickly, only about 6 SQM but I'm looking for the best value. Where is the best place to get this or something like it that's not going to cost me the earth. thinking budget :D

Much appreciated

James

Rockwool will be the cheapest way to go,
Cavity Slabs usually cost a bit more, but it's worth googling some of the DIY Sheds in your area, they often have buy one get one free offers.
But out of the bigger ones, Wickes usually comes out cheaper.
If you know any one with a trade account at a builders merchants they can get good discounts, put check that VAT is included in the price.
Also when installing the insulation, you must not completely surround electric cables with the stuff as it effect it's current rating.

Thanks for coming back to me.

I don't think I know anyone with a trade account so I'll have to resort to places like wickes etc.

Can you recommend anything in particular off the shelf

Much appreciated
