Hello

Would it be a good idea to use a powered fan such as airtitan T7 for the subfloor space?

I have clear the subfloor completely replaced joists got air vents cleared and in place. There was no significant sign of mould/fungus some of the 120 year old joist had some damp rot that had been touching the wall.

Given this would it be reasonable to say now the subfloor is renewed it be good for another 100 years and not need a subfloor fan?

Thanks

Modern timber is nothing like as good as old timber, the same goes for the treatment, we have decking at the back of our house, we have been here 40 years, it was there about 5 years before we moved in, its still in prety good condition, compared to the decking at the front, about 15 years old, I replaced some about 3 years ago and probably will have to do the rest this year.
