Have just had an internal door vat stripped and have conflicting info from different sources
1) Can door be neutralized using full strength vinegar (or does it need to be diluted)
2)Afterwards does the door need to be sealed before either painting or waxing.....If so what would you recommend colour.
3)What wax would you use to keep the door a light colour

cant help you with the neautralizing thing, maybe ask the people who dipped it for you. As for the finish why would you paint a door your just stripped?

If you want to wax it you need to seal it first or use gallons of wax. Sealing will give a better finish and you can use all sorts of mainly shellac based products. Button polish or a floor sealer would probably be easiest to get and work with. You can just rub them on allow to dry and then a few coats of wax.

Again you may be good going with a small thing of clear floor wax, or any clear finishing wax will not change the colour much. Liberon stuff is good if you can find it, try a flooring place.
