Hi, I have oak parquet floor/old pine stair case and new pine door frames&skirts /old pitch pine doors -all newly sanded. I want to keep the natural colour of the reclaimed parquet so have just purchased clear hard wax oil for this. Im not sure if I shoudl use the clear hardwax oil on the stairs and doors as they are nice wood.My problem being I dont want randow/odd colours of wood that may look silly.Im happy to stain the door frames and skirts and try to match them but dont want to make any mistakes as a lot of effort has gone into stripping the wood back to its natural state. Any suggestions on trying to match the woods.I know I can stain the lot the same colour but im sceptical

You can't make different timbers look the same even if all dyed the same colour, would look pretty knaff if you could, don't know why you would want every bit of timber looking the same.
