Hi!,

Wanted a bit of advice if anyone can help. I plan to have a 3.5m diameter patio sunken into my garden to a depth of 600mm.

The problem which I invisage is drainage and suspect that if i'm not carefull I may end up with a swimming pool.

My thoughts are that as long as the flags are not pointed with cement, and there is sufficient dolomite/ hardcore underneath, then this should not be a problem.

Am I right?????????Any advice welcome.

Thanks

probably, so long as you have a low water table, BUT by having no pointing you will allow the weeds to grow
