hi, just installed sunvic TLX RFPv wireless thermostat in to my sime 90 plus boiler having a problem setting temperature, should i set the boiler temp to full and then let the thermostat take control or do i disconnect the thermostat in the boiler ? cause at the moment when boiler fires up rads get sooo hot until reached temp the go off is this how it should be? i thought i would have more control on the temp. if i turn the temp dial down on my boiler when the sunvic has swithed the heating on the boiler switches off.I assumed when you wire the transmitter to the boiler it would over ride the boilers thermostat.still trying to understand how it all works so any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers

The stat on the boiler controls the temperature of the system water
The room stat gives air temperature control of the room in which you fit it.
Both stats must be calling for heat for the boiler to light.

Just to add to this, there is often time control for the heating on the boiler or a seperate timeswitch which also needs to be calling for heat.

A seperate control is usually found on the boiler to determine the temp of your hot tap water

does that mean i should be able to turn down the temp control on my boiler so rads dont get too hot and the sunvic still controls temp in the house
