DOES ANYONE KNOW IF WE NEED SUPPLEMENTRY EARTH BONDING ON OUR GAS AND WATER PIPES EVEN THOUGH AN RCD IS INCORPORATED ON OUR CONSUMER UNIT, WE HAVE RECENTLY MOVED HOUSE AND ON CHECKING THIS NOTICED NO BONDING EXISTS

I think you mean main equipotential bonding. Yes it should be there.

Many older sparks would not install it on a TT system (incorporating an RCD as the main switch). This wasnt because it wasn't required, but because the elec board would still connect to this setup without question.

You should have the bonding fitted. You should also check the supplementary bonding in your bathroom is up to the latest regs.

Could be a good idea to get a decent spark to undertake a PIR inspection (less than £100 for a decent sized house). Money well spent if you think the installation warrents a bit of TLC.

Oh - AND NO NEED TO SHOUT - COULD HERE YOU FINE ;)
