Supply to Consumer Unit via 10mm SWA!! What to replace with?

it's the ability of the cable to .......... ah nevermind the details..

it's something to do with the earth being able to handle the heat in the event of a fault or something..

I see what you getting at now :-) The calcultion setermins the ability of the armouring to carry the necessary fault current without overheating and causing a fire risk.

Will have to give that one some thought lol...

Perhaps it would make life easy if i just used 3 core SWA then i have a 25mm CPC and no worries of it being insufficient! lol
