Support For Farmers

[ellal]

Exactly - why aren't labour dishing it out to farmers.

Who promised that money?

Oh that's right those who led the leave campaign...

And how many years did the tory government not give out said promised money?

RW nutjobs/brexiteers do tend to have a problem with reality

Have they been in government for the last 2 years.

There were plenty of labour in favour of brexit

I think farmers should get our support and government support. They look after and feed animals, work in fields all hours in all weathers and produce ingrediants for our food. Pretty important in my books.

Farmers are overwhelmingly torey and mainly Brexit supporters which explains why they put up with its consequences but object to anything Labor do. I’m not generally a supporter of IHT on farms but developing frictionless trade with the EU could only help them.

I fail to see how a farmer sat in his tractor in a field doing tractor stuff has any impact on brexit.

Clarkson’s content creation maybe but we import and export a lot of stuff, plus EU subsidies supported agricultural businesses

We are away from the EU subsidies now. The farmers need support from our government. They need and deserve it or we will all be growing our own corn and keeping our own cows.

The Torey’s kicked that ball down the street. They did little to address farmers position post brexhit, because it wasn’t a priority or they didn’t care.

They will know the errors of their way soon enough when they have to house a herd of cows and sheep in their gardens.
