Hi
Had these French doors installed last summer. The "step" bends under foot. The door opening is 3m wide. I do not step on it myself, but kids do. Cannot do it much good.
I was thinking of putting something under, like wood cut to measure. But concerned about damp course. Would this be a problem? I should be able to keep a small gap between the support and the bricks.
Another idea I had was to use some adjustable furniture legs, if I can find some that fit. I think popping 3 small supports in would be enough to stop the bend.

Any suggestions?
