A British Life Assurance company is questioning the death of a man who took out several policies shortly beforehand.
He collapsed outside his Weybridge home in 2012. Traces of a chemical linked to plant poison were found in his stomach. The full inquest into Mr Perepilichnyy's death is due to start on 5 June.
Alexander Perepilichnyy had been a whistle-blower who identified a $230 million (£150 million) Russian money-laundering operation.
