hi all, i'm in the process of a self build conservatory with a suspended timber floor.My question is "when laying the concrete slab (100mm) do i need to lay a hardcore base" all the diagrams i have seen show it without any hardcore???

In the case of a suspended timber floor, the oversite concrete is little more than a weed barrier though it should still have a dpm.
