please help i've just changed the head gasket on my 1.6i 8v 1993 vitara but i've made two mistakes first i torqued it in the 16v order and i've just realised i was at no1 tdc exhaust not compression  i am 110 percent certain it all went back together without moving even put the timing belt back in the same teeth! i've not added fluids or turned the key yet waiting for new cambelt and exhaust.
My question is will it be ok? should i loosen and re torque the head in the correct order?

As long as all the bolts have been torqued down I would not worry, you could increase the tourque setting slightly and re do in correct sequence, the head bolts are probably stretch bolts.
On my BMW E34 the bolts are tightened in three stages, so two stages should work on your Vitara.
Before starting it, I would suggest you turn it over with a spanner on the end of the crankshaft bolt to make sure nothing is fouling.
