I'm converting a semi detatched house into 2 flats, the kitchens are stacked on the front elevation of the property. Do I need a soil vent pipe or can I take the waste out in seperate pipes into the combined sewer? The SVP serving the bathrooms is on the opposite elevation so not practical to connect to!

Many thanks
Dan

Have you spoken with Building Control who should be able to advise?

Alterations on waste are notifiable. The chap who will certify the job can no doubt advice you on this.
